News Report Structure

A news report will normally consist of the following techniques:
PTC: Piece to camera
C/A: A cutaway
V/O: Voice over
I/V: Interview
Vox pops: Voice of the people

It is important to remember that any version of events contained within a news
broadcast can be impacted by its use of visuals, voice over, presenter lead-in and
the comments from the ‘so-called’ experts. A typical news report will follow this structure: C/A, 
I/V, C/A, I/V, PTC, C/A.
